      Great Micrometer Holder!

      I have a set of 0-5 in. Mitutoyo micrometers and needed a holder for them. I would have liked to just buy a matching Mitutoyo holder, but even used they are quite expensive. This little thing was a great purchase! It holds all my micrometers securely, even the 4-5 in. piece. I don't think it's supposed to hold one this big, but this stand is heaviest it does it without any problem. Excellent value!

      Good function and value

      Heavy base, adjustments are good to get micrometer positioned for viewing reading and closing on part to be measured. Casting base is a little longer than I expected but does not get in the way. The tilt adjustment is adequate range for good view of micrometer graduations. The clamp holds mic frame securely. Have used with a smaller 0-1" mic as well as a larger frame 0-1" blade mic, works well.

      Excellent stand

      For what it does it's perfect. It's just an adjustable heavy clamp with rubber jaws. It looks like a copy of a much more expensive unit, but i don't see what the more expensive unit does to justify it's price. It holds both of my mic's perfectly so I don't know how it could be better.

      Serves the purpose so far. Have used it with micrometers in the range up to 100 mm. Good rip and doesn't move on the table. Perhaps, it could be a little bit heavier. But I think it doesn't matter what brand you buy, they are all the same. Overall, worth buying it.

      Good Quality and affordable

      As a machinist, I understand that normally if you find a $250 tool for $40 it is probably cheep crap, but I don't think this is one of those cases. It has a very heavy base for its size, I can set boring gauges without it moving around on me. Its soft jaws don't alter the measurement on my micrometers and it is probably just like the more expensive ones without the mark up on price. Excellent product, I definitely recommend it.
