Replaced the Hard drive with one with Linux preloaded, and the machine came to life. Fast, smooth and accurate, this could be brand new! And at the price I paid, it is an amazing value. After a 10 minute battle with packaging ( a nuclear bomb couldn't damage this packaging), out emerged a glorious laptop with virtually no blemishes. One detraction from a perfect transaction: no charger/adapter. Transaction Rating: MAGNIFICENT!
