    Just the job as a radio for the garage

    I bought this radio to use in the garage, principally listening to Radio 2 and Radio 4 whilst I'm out there working. I have it on a small shelf six feet above the ground plugged in to a nearby power socket and it works well for the price paid. As the speaker in the radio is a decent size, the tone is pretty good and doesn't sound 'tinny'. It doesn't have presets but that's not really problem given its occasional use. It seems robustly made and hopefully it should serve me well. I haven't operated it on battery power yet so I cannot comment on its performance in this mode. Overall, I am very happy with this little radio.
