    Top quality tank at excellent price.

    The tank is top quality at an excellent price. There is some roughness to the inlet pipe that MAY need to be addressed with a file. The sending unit looked very nice, but when trying to install it, there was a manufacturing defect that became apparent....It had not been clamped together properly before the pick-up tube was soldered to the mounting circle. This caused a slight misalignment of the two prongs that register the unit in the tank, which made it impossible to mount without some minor rework with a die grinder. I have not installed it yet as I still need to make custom brackets to fit my '71 Ranchero, (Not what this tank was designed for). I would recommend this product to anyone looking to replace their rusted tank. With one very MINOR exception, this is a high quality ...
