I usually don't take them out of my studio in these, I mainly use them to cover my instruments because they still fit into the rack with these covers. Although, I would not hesitate to transport them carefully in these, provided the weather was warmer. I highly recommend them. I have about 15 of them and would buy more.

Since the cases are soft and strong, the shipping is not that bad since the case is put into a cardboard box for the packaging.

DON'T ship FedEx is my suggestion.
