Fit perfectly and works fine
I had difficulty finding a replacement for my worn out motor at local electrical supply supply stores. Either they didn't have one in stock, needed several days to get one and/or the prices were way out of line. I also think because of my ago (I'm in my 70's), they felt I wouldn't bother checking all of the complicated specs they were giving me and would just accept the price given. I knew what I needed and looked online instead. I found the model needed on several sites, but the price here was easily the best I found. The delivery was very timely, the motor was installed in the old housing in a short time and is working fine ever since. Great alternative to brand site price!
I have a NuTone 8662 fan/light in an old home and this motor fits perfect! Did not have to replace the motor mounts in the bracket, this motor fits exactly as it should (thankfully). I did order a new squirrel cage, even though the old one is perfectly fine, just to ensure no future problems. This motor does have a ground wire, so I just attached it to the bracket/frame of the fan (the screw nearest the outlet) and it works fine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
