    Cheaper than new, but works well.

    It replaced a unit that was no longer working. This was a used unit and much cheaper than ordering a new one from the manufacturer. It works great once the proper configuration was dowloaded.

    Worked For My Purpose

    Purchased this unit to read some Savings Bonds that have reached their >30 year point. This unit came with the cables (which are otherwise overly expensive) and it worked. The numbers need some massaging (Excel style), but this will save a little time (and errors) entering numbers manually.
