Climb aboard your motorcycle and prepare to race in Rally Bike for the NES. If you place in the top ten on a particular race, you can upgrade your bike's engine and its tires. You can choose from Rain Tires, which will help your bike grip the road, Block Tires, which should be used for off-road driving, and Slicks, which perform well on the highways, especially when you are driving really fast.<br><br>During the race you must avoid other racers, which will swerve in front of you. If you can, try to make them crash. Helper motorcycles, which appear on the course from time to time, will help you crash the other racers. The roads are littered with obstacles that will make you crash if you run into them. From time to time, certain parts of the track won't necessarily look like a pathway; the boat dock in level two is a good example of this.<br><br>Be on the lookout for a helicopter as you race. This whirly bird will drop you bonus items such as a Turbocharger, which gives your bike a temporary boost of speed, and Invincibility, which will make you impervious to accidents for a short time. Also, the helicopter will provide you with two different grades of much-need gasoline.<br><br>The action in Rally Bike is viewed from above.
