Best in NO wind
Great RC model. Superior capabilities. Did not recommend for others near me because we ALWAYS have wind. This model works best in calm air, or indoors (no Wind). I can practice taxiing the plane in sheltered areas around my apartment. We cannot fly after sundown here.(too close to airport). To solve this problem, I bought a larger plane (same brand) that has been shown to be able to tolerate wind on YouTube. My bad, but not sorry for buying the Sport Cub UMX. I live a mile from the ocean and we always have a breeze of 5 gusting to 10. If you have calm wind most of the time, you will love this airplane. I'm not yet good enough to fly it here. The Sport Cub is an awesome choice for a beginner or anyone who wants to fly in a confined space. It can fly with ease in most backyards, or even in an indoor gymnasium. The variable modes allow for a beginner to start with the basics and work there way up to an intermediate flyer all with one plane. The slow flying pace with the steerable tail-wheel of the plane makes it excellent for takeoff and landing on a flat surface (something many r/c planes in its class are not well suited for). Great First Plane!
This sport. Cub is excellent to learn on, doesn't like much wind cuz it's so light, but on a calm day, the safe, and beginner mode is awesome for first time pilots! Ease of take off n no power landings make it super easy to learn! Wud definitely recommend for anyone wanting to learn.

Easy to fly
This is the perfect 1st plane. When I fly with no wind, it’s amazing to fly. Windier days are still manageable, but not recommended. I highly recommend a bigger battery. I use a 250mAh and I get a lot more flight time. So far, I’ve been having a blast with it. :)

Awesome trainer airplane with SAFE. You almost have to try to crash for it to happen. Recommend adding clear packing tape to leading edges, top of wings where they meet the cockpit, and elevator & rudder to protect and reinforce the lightweight foam. Great little plane
I had this little Sport cub out over the weekend and it flies easily and perfectly. It takes off in about a foot and a half of space and the safe system works perfectly.
