About this product

Product Information

The trio of titans returns with some fiendish friends in this update to Midway's city crushing coin-op series. Rampage: Total Destruction once again features super-sized gorilla George, luscious lizard Lizzy, and wily werewolf Ralph as they smash buildings, dine on tourists, and battle the armed forces while razing and wrecking seven bustling cities around the world. Damage to surrounding areas will gradually increase each monster's rage meter, allowing it to perform super moves while fully enraged. For its Wii debut, Rampage features more detailed environments and characters compared to the earlier GameCube version.

Multiple power-ups ranging from strength enhancements to damage multipliers are lurking throughout the 3D cities, as are 34 hidden monsters to unlock for both solo and multiplayer action. Featured creatures include a shark, squid, rat, lobster, crocodile, and lion, as players engage in cooperative matches or competitive battles with up to three other friends. Multiple control configurations offer players the option to use either the Wii Remote for all actions or a standard GameCube controller. The game also includes the arcade versions of Rampage and its 1997 follow-up, Rampage World Tour, as a bonus.

Seller was quick to respond with my shipping concerns, while the pairing button on the Xbox didn’t seem to work it was packaged nicely and would’ve still been worth the purchase even if I knew the button was broken as the pairing itself works. I also got the exact Xbox as pictured. For around 400$ it was quite worth it.

The game arrived in plenty of time for our vacation. Son was happy to take it with him on the plane to pass the time. Cartridge arrived well packaged, was clean and free of any scratches, and as described. It plays well, and I've heard no complaints. Not a bad price, either. Thanks very much!

It brought back memories of my youth!!!

Great Game served as a passing of the torch to watch my kids enjoy this game as much as I did when I was their age . Great feeling to see this.

  • Top critical review

    Almost there

I bought this being a fan of the original game. It has great new monsters, vastly improved graphics but it falls horribly short in the form of monster control. Made for the Wii the controls are based on movement but that does not work well with their attempts to have depth in the play area. I would have preferred a way to turn off motion control and use the old school button control.
