    Android smartphone hub

    This can be a very handy device to hook to your android smartphone with a type C USB connection. With this hub you can connect a keyboard and a mouse. And if your phone is so equipped, you can connect an ethernet cable for direct access to the Web, and you can connect an HDMI cable and put the image on a TV or monitor. The hub can also be powered giving you better performance and the ability to charge the phone at the same time. Please note the maker does not specifically market this device as a hub for android smartphones. The downside seems to be related to either compatibility or quality issues in that the hub does not always work with a smartphone. The hub tends to run warm. This hub might be considered an alternative to the Samsung Dex pad or Dex station.

    Great Replacement for a Mini-Docking Dongle

    I purchased this to replace the mini-docking dongle that came with my PC, as it was just out of warranty. This device works perfectly, although it is a bigger than the mini-docking dongle, which really isn't a problem, as I use it mostly at my desk with lots of peripherals plugged in. To purchase an OEM mini-docking dongle would have cost more that twice as much.

    brand new, works flawlessly for the past weeks...

    exactly what i needed in a reasonable price... usb-c hubs can get a bit expensive when you add ethernet and hdmi outputs on them, this hub is working and so far with no issues.
