    Great buy for a emergency radio.

    This my second RS Emergency Radio and this one is used as a backup. Receiver sensitivity on AM/FM is excellent. I have a FM radio tower a mile away and it raises havoc with most FM radios that I have used. The station doesn't bother this radio since it has good image rejection. The NOAA Weather broadcasts are also real good and one big plus with this radio is that the set of AA Rechargeable 1.2 V. will last many hours. A built-in charger will recharge these batteries. The only downside with the radio is that a power supply block has to be ordered to run it and charge those 3 batteries. The emergency hand-crank generator will power the light and radio but will not last without repeated cranking on the generator.
