    Well made replacement part

    It is great that Cuisinart offers replacement components. My original feed shoot lasted for 7 years and I use my unit at least once a week. I believe my daughter accidently twisted the original feed shoot and broke it so that is why I needed a replacement. Good quality materials are used, and a good design, but you need to be mindful when inserting or removing it from the main unit.

    Used Cusinart Pusher, used pusher has hairline cracks

    Due to the design flaw of this series, the pusher develops hairline cracks and then breaks. Sadly this used unit has the same hairline cracks forming and will break in the future too. It was not disclosed it had these hairline fractures, but I could have asked too. Knowing what I know now...I will save up for a new pusher.
