If you're buying the series then you know how good the series is. This box set is great. The only negative I can comment on is the way the episodes with extra content is organized. Battlestar Blu Ray UK
I have bought both the American release and the UK blu ray release. Both sets are identical in content for the exception of getting a toy cylon from the American release. The UK release is much better because it's 60 dollars cheaper , and discs are protected in real Blu Ray cases. The US release has sleeves, which overtime can get dingy and destroyed easily. I for one prefer the UK release as it's much better packaged and no frills for a Cylon toy. Needless to say I sold the USA version, and kept the UK.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

this remake is vastly superior to the original series.
One of the decades best tv shows ! The new battlestar is far superior to the original series. 50,000 people survive the Cylon massacre of the 13 colonies. Their journey across the galaxy in search of earth is filled with fear, and paranoia as the survivors realize the cylons are not only following them , but also have Cylon humanoids hiding among them. Blu Ray quality here is excellent , although there is occasionally a little grain present in some scenes. It's definitely worth buying , the series is outstanding.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

good show-very well done
some of the characters actions are a bit frustrating but all in all I have been enjoying the show. I am on season 2 right now. I remember the original show being kinda hokey but that was then. the menu and the way it reacts to my Samsung dvd players controls are the only negative. The original 1978 Battlestar Galactica TV show was a kids' show. I was a kid, and I loved it. It is hard to watch ten minutes of it as an adult.
