Aliens have invaded and are turning humans into freakish alien hybrids out to wreak death and destruction. You are the world's only hope. You must stop the aliens before it's too late for humanity!<br><br>Mutation Nation is a 2D side-scrolling fighting game with a unique super attack system. You start the game with a standard chain kick or spin-punch super attack, depending on your character. Either attack drains a bit of your health when performed. During the course of your adventures, you can pick up two types of power-ups. One type has letters on them, starting at A and going to E. These power-ups, when collected, give you a stock of super attacks corresponding to their letter marking. The second power-up is an orange globe; pick one up and you get your current power-up's stock increased. Each use of the non-character specific super attacks takes away one super attack stock, but does not drain your energy. When you deplete your stocks, you're back to using the character-specific energy draining punch or kick supers.<br><br>Your goal is to run through each level punching, kicking, and jumping to defeat all the enemies. At the end of each level a boss character awaits you; it must be dealt with before you can advance to the next level. A health bar indicates your current condition; if it's totally depleted, you lose a life. You also have a charge meter below your health bar. The meter must be charged up by holding down the attack button to execute a super attack.
