Product Information

Space Spartans was introduced as one of three first games for the intellivision's intellivoice, a hardware speech add-on. In fact, Space Spartans was the first game developed for the intellivoice.<br><br>Remarkably large for it's time, Space Spartans was 8K in size (standard intellvision cartridges were given 4K), and set a prescedent for larger cartridge size for future intellivoice games (12 to 16K).<br><br>Space Spartans put you in the role of a space commander, fighting off enemy alien units. The 8K space allocated for Space Spartans meant the voices for the game were low quality, and unfortunately all dialogue was cut to the bare minimum.

    The GCN looks exactly as described and shown in the pictures. All the buttons are operational, it reads discs, and all the bottom plates are there. I haven't tested every controller port, but the first two and the memory card slots are working great. The GCN is clean, it was packaged exceptionally well. Sam Tech shipped it extremely quickly and it arrived two days before the initial ETA. Overall, this purchase was well worth the value and I would shop with Sam Tech again. A+++++++++

    We who are about to die; salute you!

    It's as if I was a kid again. Defending Colonial Star-bases to the death from a hostile and relentless foe. Operate a Starship that has: Repair systems built in case of minor damage, a Shield generator protecting from lazer blast, And a powerful Warp Engine that rushes you to battle or to defend a star-base while it recharges it's power.. Still; you must have care.. Major damage to any or all systems and to quote the enemy;" THE BATTLE IS OVER!" Great sound effects, and voices give this Intellivoice game dramatic impact! This is as good as it gets!!

    was new but with hidden issues

    back of box was crushed photo hid this fact. but it was sealed and as far as i can tell is new. all works like new overlays and book was new game works first try would buy from again. in future better pics. good price also A+. will buy from again.
