Guitarist/vocalist Kevin Heybourne had cut his teeth with a variety of bands, before joining Rob Downing on rhythm guitar, and a varying rhythm section to form Lucifer. Marrying together thunderous riffs, bombastic rhythms and tongue-in-cheek Satanic lyrics, the Witch made no secret of their Black Sabbath influences, often including “Paranoid” in their live set.From there things moved quickly.
