    Great series, bad discs

    This was a very good series and the product was delivered ahead of schedule. When I began to watch the dvds., the first disc would freeze often and very difficult to watch. The second and third disc will not advance to the second episode on each disc. I have the complete first volume of the series, which I purchased used from another source and it played fine. The problem is not my dvd player, just defective discs.

    The most accurate portrayal of ancient life.

    Wonderful series! Every bit of it was interesting and entertaining. The historical accuracy of living in that time was thes best part, imo. I wish they could they could have continued with Augustus!
