      Great product - definitely recommend!

      I bought this drain unblocker and was expecting it to work well based on the reviews but it worked even better than I thought! The first time in the plug hole and it cleared it straight away - it's surprising the amount of hair you find in a drain no matter how much you clean (: it seems durable too so will be using it again and again - would definitely recommend!

      Does not do the job

      The major design fault on this drain unblocker is that in the average house in the UK including mine does not have a large enough drain hall to allow the fitting past the shape in the top of your drain. I tried it on the bath, the sink & the wash basin drain hole and it would not go into any of them. The part on the end of the device is to large to fit most UK plug-holes which do not have a full circular hole, but have what i can only describe as a cartwheel shape within the top of the hole. The product is well built but has obviously not been designed for the UK market. The fitting on the end of the flexible part that should go down your drain is far to big, I had to cut the end off and just use the cable to clear my blockage. Don’t buy it if you live in the UK.       Blocked drain

      The item arrived broken in half, I'm sure not the suppliers fault, possibly postman squashed it through our small letterbox. But looking at the item, it would not have flattened out to a purposeful usage, and was very flimsy. It was cheap and I suppose you get what you pay for in life. Looking at the barbs on it, I actually think it would have got jammed in the plug hole it was intended for, and owing to its flimsy nature, I would probably have ended up with half of it stuck in the drain, so I'm glad I didn't use it. It's possibly ok for extremely light use, but definitely nothing meaty!

      Inexpensive way to clear a slow draining sink

      Using for a cloakroom basin with narrow waste fittings, product goes down the pipe easily but is very tricky to bring back for removal. Probably be fine on a regular bathroom basin with slightly wider holes in the waste trap. Having said that it does clear the pipe so does the job I bought it for.

      claw tool ok, hair removal snake problematic

      The claw tool was to replace one I'd previously bought in a pound shop so no problem. The hair removal snake was too big to get down my bath waste and got stuck. It was very difficult to get it out and the barbs are very sharp and cut my fingers.
