Super Off Road 2: The Baja is the sequel to the popular first off-road game in this series. It combines rally and off-road elements into a race to decide who is the best of the best. You will square off against several other opponents in many different types of courses all with the baja feel and theme. Some will be dirt roads and side roads, while others will be straight out desert. You can choose from several different cars to race in each with their own look and feel. Decent successor and good early attempt at a 3D driving game
The game has some good aspects, it's fun and action filled, the learning curve is reasonable, and the graphics are good for the era. However, some of the implementation is a bit weird in that it's sometimes hard to steer your truck given the harsh angles given by the graphics. The game is more dodging slower vehicles than actually any challenge presented by the course itself, and the sound is bland and mediocre. Overall gameplay is a bit short and replay value is probably pretty weak.
