Does the job without fuss, very efficient blade which gives a smooth fine grind. Badly made
I bought this coffee grinder because of Krups reputation for quality. In fact it is very poorly made and the cheap plastic on off switch broke after less than three days use. This meant that the blades continued spinning whether the lid was on or not and the only way to turn it on or off was at the mains. Dangerous! Not a quality product so looks like the bean counters are busy wrecking Krups reputation for quality.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

An excellent, affordable grinder. I use it for spices, & bought this a a replacement for my old, overworked one ( the identical model). It takes small amounts ( which since I only use it for spices) but grinds them perfectly. Wipes clean easily with a piece of kitchen paper. Simple, easy to use grinder
Grinds well but you need to pulse and shake the grinder to get the best grind. A bit of a pain to clean. I blitz dry bread in it and brush the coffee/bread bits out to get it clean. Overall well worth the money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Compact & Tidy
This is my first bean grinder. A friend recommended this Krupps model and I'm so pleased I bought it. It's compact and doesn't take up much worktop space if you want to leave it out and not hide it away in the cupboard. Easy to clean with a small brush. Simple, effective, affordable. And fast.
Inexpensive. Simple to use. Not a huge unit, either. Takes only a moment to grind the coffee beans. Works well. Cleaning isn’t, as another user mentioned, entirely straightforward, but I don’t see it being a problem. Longevity, given there is a lot of plastic involved, might be another matter, but only time will tell; Build itself seems solid. Clever fail-safe mechanism will not allow the blades to turn if the lid is off (the lid incorporates the grind switch). We had a very nice looking retro styled manual grinder which was initially enjoyable and pleasing to look at, but after awhile became tiresome - took too long to grind a cupful of beans, was almost as noisy as the Krups and wouldn’t grind faster if you turned faster - there was an optimum speed and that was slow. Great for grinding sugar
Works very efficiently for sugar - I can achieve icing sugar in just a couple of seconds - which is what I bought it for. It is compact and takes up little space in my jammed cupboard. Good at grinding but!
Excellent at grinding but it does have a design fault. After grinding it isn't easy getting all the contents out and cleaning. They should have supplied some sort of brush. Shame because it has an excellent grinding mechanism.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
