Great for self taught students!
I homeschooled two children from K-12 using Robinson Curriculum which is 100% self-taught using Saxon for math. They both tested at the community college into college classes at ages 15 and 16 and the math professor and advisor asked what I used for math because they had rarely seen such high test scores.
