    It went before it's time

I know that this series get's a lot of hate from people and at first I was in that group, no Kirk, Picard, Sisco or Janeway. Then I decided, years later after it was no longer on TV to give it a chance and I am glad I did. The first 2 seasons I found the show just trying to get it's footing and find it's voice in the Star Trek lore but, by season 3 and 4 it found it's voice and after some reflection it didn't do anything that the next generation, deep space nine or voyager did, if you look at all three they didn't really take off until season 3 as well. The thing that set's this apart from them is by that time people lost interest and the show was cancelled after 4 seasons. I have since watched the show a couple of times from start to finish and I find that it has it's moments of great story telling and engaging story arc's. If you give this a chance and set your mind, not on what came before, but perhaps judge it on it's own as a separate Star Trek story, I am sure you will find this enjoyable, it's far from perfect but, what is perfection? I found the story's to be a telling of the first voyage of the human adventure and the trials we may face if we ever get off this rock and perhaps how we will conduct ourselves once we are out there. Remember this takes place before the Federation and the prime directive But, above all enjoy it for what it is. Fair thee well in your travels.

  • Enertaining !

I never did get to see this series until now. Its actually the beginning of warp drive, the beginning of Star Trek and leaving our solar system. Story is before Captain Kirk and Spock so the transporter was experimental and mostly used for material objects. An entertaining show. The DVD package comes with all the shows and features deleted scenes. Excellent picture quality and sound. Watched 16 shows so far.

  • Mostly Awesome!

My only two disappointments were: 1) Discovering that the casing for seasons one, two, and three do not include enough spots for all seven discs. There are only six spots, so the final disc of each of these seasons is in a thin paper disc envelope loose in the casing. 2) Two of the four season cases arrived with broken tabs into which the disc-holders are secured. It makes for a very fumbling, sloppy removal of discs. There is potential to dropping the discs and/or casings because of this. While this could be caused by the shipment, the package arrived in a bag, not even a box for any form of protection against known rough handling of shipments.

  • Should still be on TV

This is the only thing my daughter wanted for her birthday. This series is awesome and has the most beautiful intro and music. Makes you just stop and listen.

  • Enterprise Complete Series

Star Trek Enterprise Complete collection good value for the money. Though 5th in the Star Trek TV franchise, it's set at the beginning of the Enterprise saga. Engaging characters, enjoyable viewing for Star Trek fans.

  • Enterprise series on DVD

I have not played them yet but I saw (and VHS taped) the first year off of TV. They should be perfectly good. I am only interested in stereo audio (has to do with only having two ears). There was no shipping damage. They removed from the factory cases easily enough. I have experienced FAR harder DVD disc removals. I put them into a Staples 40-disc DVD case with a hinged lid. My Original Series and Next Generation (purchased several years ago at physical stores) have some disc playing errors, these may also. I presume we can get replacements from Paramount if desired. Perhaps only the Original Series has the wonderful tricorder cases. I DEFINATELY put them in storage.

  • Totally binge-able!

This series was gone far too soon. It is Star Trek but as such, it managed to establish a vibe all its own. Scott Bakula makes an excellent starship captain and we get to see the development of Federation principles through this series.

  • Star Trek Enterprise

Interesting and entertaining. I prefer the older Star Trek series to the latest ones; the new ones are crude and irreverent to the original intent of the series. The latest version of Jim Kirk makes him out to be some bad-boy punk in uniform. Even though Star Trek Enterprise uses more questionable language than the older series do, I still like it.
