Good crime/mystery series / Very loosely based on the works of Agatha Christie
As a fan of Agatha Christie's movie adaptations, I was skeptic at first. If you go past the fact that the only common thing with AC's novels is the English title (the French are somewhat different) AND you like snappy and light hearted script and direction, it is a must! The cast is excellent, the era and locations are depicted perfectly. You do not get bored, but do not expect deep thrills and excitement. Definitely worth its money if you can accept the above mentioned allowances.
I love Agatha Christy - this is very atypical of a Christy movie: the head detective is a womanizer, so unlike Poirot, and is dutiful secretary is a bombshell, an opposite of Miss Lemon - the plots are nothing like the books or other Christy movies - but they are enjoyable and definitely worth buying and watching
