  • Good old tech

This scanner was top of the line back in 1994. It is still a nice analog scanner for basic scanning. It is huge in size, this is a handheld, but it is almost as big as a desktop. Amazing this is what I used to think was small and portable. Tech has changed a huge amount in 20 years. But, if you are looking to get nostalgic, and only need to monitor a few analog channels, this is OK if you can get it cheap. Considering you can get a nice fancy new analog scanner for about 70 dollars, you should really want this for nostalga, not for field scanning. Like having an Apple 2 computer, cool to look at and remember your youth.
