    A few quirks with first-rate results

    Facing a daunting pile of documents to scan, I needed a serious scanner upgrade. I was using a duplex scanner on my HP printer. Results with that set up were excellent though painfully slow. I couldn't face the 1000+ pages at such slow speed (over 20 seconds per page in duplex mode). I sought the best, fastest scanner I could find on my limited budget. This little Epson was an excellent choice. Results are fast and accurate. My project is quite a bit less daunting. For the quirks: - If I load more than 15 pages at a time, the first 2 or 3 pages often go through together (as if they were stuck). My cure is to load no more than 15 at a time - resulting in very few "stuck" pages. And this only happens with the first pages. I have never had any pages get "stuck" together from further down. - ...

    Installation problems

    The scanner appears to have lots of great features but unfortunately, the driver would not work with the 64-bit version of Windows 10 I am using. I installed them successfully on two PCs with the same result. Windows was unable to see the scanner and although it was possible to scan a page after waiting 1 to 2 minutes. I presume it was a conflict with another driver or software but I was unable to resolve the issue so I returned it.

    NIce Upgrade

    I had a fujitsu scansnap 300 and it was getting old and no software updates. I saw this for great price and had purchased an EPSON WorkForce printer that I love. I figured lets try this unit out. Hasn't let me down. Sometimes I noticed I have to unplug USB and replug in the unit for it work but its not a big deal. I think it may be something related to how the computer handles the USB device. This scans fast and sharp and portable. I bought one and my gf bought one too. We both love it.

    Excellent scanner for the price

    I love this scanner. I have a larger Kodak scanner at my office that I spent $400+ on & this one scans just as good. My only complaint is that sometimes it scans receipts so fast that it pulls them in crooked. Other than that it's perfect!

    Love this thing!

    Great product! Extremely fast. Can scan 1000 papers within an hour! Best to have it set on double sided scan. You have to manually scan a page then set it to auto-feed. Make sure your papers are straight and aligned so that a jam does not happen. Best to have your papers grouped in either tens or fifteens,but it will go by quickly if you have a lot. No serious complaints really.
