  • Keys way too squishy

Other than the 6 key being on the left size, it's just like a standard QWERTY keyboard that's literally been split in half, with some keys added on the side so doesn't take a while to get used to. My main complaint and why I only gave it three out of five stars is that they keys are very, very squishy. I've used a lot of membrane-based keyboards over the years, and this one has been the worst in terms of key feel. Being able to split and tilt the keyboard has helped with my arm strain, but can't get over how the keys feel. I'd highly recommend saving up to buying the model with the mechanical keys.

  • Great for my neck, just one flaw

After using a laptop and its keyboard, it's taking some time to adjust to the design, BUT that's my responsibility. I really miss the illuminated keyboard on my laptop, and am considering dropping $175 or so the top of the line gaming-Kinesis for this reason. Along with a used Herman Miller chair, a vertical mouse and raising the display about four inches this is doing wonders for my upper neck, which was creating problems in other parts of my body This received four stars instead of five because the tether between the two halves of the keyboard broke almost immediately when i was setting up the keyboard the first time. It was my fault but the piece is not flexible, and replacement is at least $15 to $18 or so with shipping.
