I've had this issue with another make where the light on the plug goes on and off but doesn't do anything else.Good that I now have two remotes - one for the sockets upstairs and another for downstairs. Works brilliantly!
The Masterplug Remote Control operates Masterplug Sockets as far apart as my kitchen, at the back, and bedrooms at the front, from wherever I am in my large bungalow! My only criticism is that, although the Masterplug Remote Control operates up to 4 sockets, I could not find anywhere to buy 2 extra Masterplug Mains Sockets on their own!
