    First pressing

    The first releases for the US market in 1985 were surprisingly Made in Japan. Warmth and detailing are superb, it’s astonishing how current pressings sound quite different. Note that the sound level is much lower than modern pressings, leaving plenty of headroom for dynamic bursts. If you can get your hands on one of these cd, don’t hesitate!

    Very disappointing remastering.

    The remastering, for me, was a hack job making the album unlistenable. An analogy would a golf fan watching the Masters on an 85" 4K set with the color turned up so far as to make everything garish. i.e. not musical. More like hammered. I am sorely disappointed.

    Dire Straits, their “Brothers in arms” is an amazing CD for all rock fans to enjoy

    This was a great album and is an awesome CD, multiple hits that people can enjoy and even sing along to - they are that well known. Brothers in Arms highlights the best of Dire Straits in the mid to late 1980s and the kick off of the MTV years.
