    Very good video quality

    Very easy to use and an excellent choice for a prosumer level camera. This is not a stick in your pocket and go camera but is a little bulkier than that but the quality at this price range is very very good. Hook an inexpensive Takstar SGC-598 ($30 on eBay) and what an awesome video producing machine this is. See my productions with this camera on my YouTube channel by typing in the YouTube search line Indian Creek Bowhunting and watch my 2015 season episodes. It was filmed with this camera as well as a lightweight Panasonic HC-V750 and a GoPro 3. The Canon Vixia HF-G30 outperforms them all for my main camera. I liked this camera so much a bought two.     Excellent camera

    Excellent image quality. Good low light gathering ability. If you do not need 4 k resolution, this will fill your needs. My video needs are just for regular high definition, I submit video programs for local community television stations, they do not broadcast in 4 k.

    The Canon Vixia HF-G30 is Small but Mighty

    These cameras are workhorses! Long battery life and lots of storage make them very useful. I can shoot great video for hours and not worry about power supplies. They write to a SD card that makes the video easy to upload. Never use cheap SD cards. The remote and mic jacks allow for the use of external microphones and control of the camera from the tripod arm. HDMI out can feed a monitor. The zoom is smooth and the speed is adjustable. The lens works beautifully even in low light environments. I use this camera all the time.

    Canon HF G30

    Excellent camera for the price! Purchased this camera after looking at the Canon XA20 since I dont need the XLR audio jacks. My Audio Technica wireless lavaliere system works great with it too. Love the adjustable zoom speeds, very smooth camera with a nice tripod.

    Great little camera with enough options for most uses.
