    "One of America's clowns."

    Often billed as "one of America's clowns," Red Skelton ably does what he does best. Helped along by a good script playing up all his comedic abilities and a solid (albeit mostly unfamiliar) supporting cast, nobody takes anything too seriously and no one really gets hurt. And in spite of one of the characters acting like a wolf licking his chops over the prospect of possibly getting Red's pretty girlfriend, it's all good, clean fun with no foul language or nudity to worry about. Family fun with something for everyone.
