The Nikon Archer's Choice Rangefinder is an incredible value and a fine tool. In addition to working as advertised, it provides a hunter/archer with confidence. It is spot on accurate for bow range. The rangefinder is extremely easy to use, has a very clear field of vision and easy to read display. I have used this rangefinder in the field for hog hunting, on the range, and in my backyard. I love the feature that compensates for shot angles--it helps a great deal when ranging from a tree stand or on a hill. If I had a complaint, it would be that it is only good for bow rangefinding and not for rifle distances (e.g. over 90 or 100 yards). I like the neoprene cover, but it would be nice if there was a lens cover for the business end. I highly recommend this product for bowhunters and backyard archery enthusiasts!Read full review
This range finder is a must have for a bow hunter. It is very easy to use and the display is uncluttered, the only thing on the display is the crosshairs and the distance to shoot. This range finder is small for one handed operation. The clarity is great and I have ranged deer accuratley out to 150 yds. Great product!
Good product; works well. Easy to use. I wish it ranged further than 100 yards so it could double in use for gun hunting. I think the need for compensating for the height above the target from a tree stand is overhyped. Most of my measurements differ by only a yard when that option is used. That is of no consequence when using fast compounds and crossbows.
We actually bought the Archers Choice Max, we looked and tried several different kinds in different stores and this one was the clearest and easiest to operate. After reading the instructions it took all of 3 min to have it figured out. Have used it several hundred times in the woods and it is right on distance wise.It is small and light, dont even know you have it attached to your vest or jacket....
So far the product has performed as advertised. I purchased the Archers Choice Max versus the Archers Choice because of the exceptional offer made by the seller and the rebate offered by Nikon. The unit is a little larger in size than my previous range finder and didn't come with a carry case that covered the lens. However, I bought this unit for the ARC technology and it does help.
