Top marks to Poorboys
This is another good product from Poorboys at a reasonable price. I do DIY bodywork on my modest collection of older cars, after colour sanding clear coat, and restoring the basic shine with Farecla buffing compound, this SSR2 does a great job to raise the finish level still further to a deep mirror like shine ready for polishing and then waxing for a stunning finish. I've also used this on friends newer cars (particularly dark metallic colours) to restore a mirror finish. For best results, clay-bar first, then use this, then polish, then wax. Black and dark metallic blues respond amazingly well. You will need an electric or DA buffer on about setting 4 with a soft(ish) foam pad, no spatter and the SSR2 dries to a haze, buff off with a microfiber towel.
