Best Folk Album 2008 as well as Best Original Song for "Never Any Good" gives you an idea of the calibre of performance and song writing on show here. Superb.

  • Poor show by Mr. Simpson this time round.

Poor material, poor singing and, considering who's on the disc, nothing great in the way of instrumental highlights. I've been far better entertained at my local folk club. Why the powers that be saw fit to advertise this on telly, beats me. Sorry I bought it.
