      Decent, but not a classic

      I've been a fan of Cannibal Corpse since their first album way back in 1990, so perhaps that influences my views on the current line up and recent work being produced by this band. While everything on this album is technically superb (brutal vocals, amazing musicianship, excellent production, etc.), as a whole it lacks those hooks and catchy feel of the earlier Cannibal Corpse albums. Another way of saying it is if you listen to any single song on this album on it's own, it will likely blow your doors right off. But when you listen to the album as a whole, one song melds into the next and everything begins to sound the same. Riffs start sounding exactly the same, the canter of the vocal barking becomes repetitive, the paces varies little. Some say death metal shouldn't ...

      Another killer release from the kings of death metal.

      "kill" is another cannibal corpse record to feature their trademark riffs.some past releases were not up to snuff.But "kill" sends them back into guitar riff heaven.
