Oasis didn't just seize the day, they shagged it senseless and then took it out boozing.", 4 Stars - Excellent - "...their collective gift: superheated, brazen guitar married to wonderfully daft and striking lyrics delivered with guttersnipe self-possession. A rutting mess of glam, punk, and psychedelia...", "...yet another young, thrusting, white guitar band, a perfect hybrid of the Stone Roses' sun-kissed pop sense and Happy Mondays' thuggish laddishness...", Ranked #24 in Q's "100 Greatest British Albums", Ranked #11 in Q's "Best 50 Albums of Q's Lifetime", 9-Excellent Plus-"...Oasis Have Encapsulated the Most Triumphant Feeling....Yeah, That Good...", "...Heavier on guitar than Suede or Blur, they're the heavier outfit. • What an album, absolute classic

Just recently attended the Oasis gig at Heaton Park in Manchester, WOW!. The gig stirred up the passion to listen to Oasis again only just bought the cd, the big question is "why did I not buy this album earlier". Oasis debut album, some say their best, full of the early classic. A must for any music fan, this album sits proudly amongst my other cd's, never to be resold. BUY IT!

    • Definitely Maybe

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend who is a massive fan of Oasis, so much so that his first copy of this album is played out... he loves it!
