    Great book. Good writing and great pictures with loads of brilliant tiny details.I used them as inspiration to paint a toy box for my grandson.

    Disappointing, bad quality

    I know these books are second hand but you claim the books are checked before despatch. I didn't explain writing all over front cover and yellow paint covering the first 2 pages. Clearly hasn't been checked. Story still lovely & I'll still read it to my daughter but would've purchased from elsewhere had the advert been correct.

    Always creates intrest

    Great read for pre schoolers, keeps them quiet whilst reading. With lots of areas for discussion afterwards. This book can be used for a drama activity with preschoolers.

    I guess everybody knows the book by now, and knows it's an excellent story for young children, very well illustrated. This copy was pre-owned and in average condition, but at a very good price.
