I fish out on the Nullarbor and I see these guys with these fancy reels and if you drop them in the sand it's a nightmare to clean...Reels like this Penn are so easy to clean. I pack the inside of my reel with Vaseline as if you DO drop it the sand won't penetrate the cogs / gears and Vaseline does not have an odor. Thanks
