Don't expect to be "banging"! But if you just want a nice noticeable upgrade to a stock system, or you just want that little extra then this perfect. I put this in a 98 Honda accord 4 door with a 400 watt mb quart amp. I like rock/metal... And just needed to hear the bass drum kick. This did just that and more. Very surprised considering my car is big. I give a thumbs up for the price. Tech note. I would not recommend trying to over power this sub. Just a small amp (300 to 400 rms) is good enough. Nice sound without having to do large wires or upgrades.

I am pleased with the pioneer subs performance, I am using a 1600 watt pioneer Mono amp to power it. Sound is excellent. Also using a 1200 watt 4 channel amp to drive the 4 pioneer door speakers with the stock radio. The sub completed the sound I was after, and i could always add another pioneer 10" sub. Pioneer Rocks!!!! This sub enclosure fits right under my back seat in the 2014 F150 super crew. Well done pioneer.

This is my second Pioneer sub box. I used them in both of my daughters Honda Civic cars!! Sounds awesome coming from a standard radio and amp hookup. Great buy for the money.

I got this thinking it was a "powered" subwoofer, but it's not. My fault all the way, just got too excited and purchased before doing my research. However, I'm glad I screwed up because this is one great subwoofer. We paired it up with a $50 monoblock Boss amp and it sounds great. It's not window shattering, but it has a great sound quality. Overall, great buy

wasn't too Impressed by this subwoofer at first, but as soon as I gave it enough power, mellowed out the bass boost on the amp, and tuned the low pass filter to between about 80-90hz sounds great doesn't over power the music but adds a descent amount of depth, sounds best down firing the legs on the front of the speaker box give it enough clearance from the ground to flex. Definitely got my money's worth, Not much money at all either.
