This is my second Nikon F2. My first one was purchased second-hand in around 1995 and it came with DP12, i.e. the highly desirable F2-AS. That travelled with me to many places in the world and is still going strong. I purchased this F2 with eye level finder just for collection but it surely function as it should and it will certainly outlive myself. It now pairs with a Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 and filled with different types of B/W film just for the pleasure of 'slow' photo taking.

I really haven't film tested this camera. I bought it because it was very cheap and I needed it to add to my collection. But by word of mouth from other Nikon users , if you can find one of this in nice ( not abused ) condition you will not be disappointed and it will give you a live time of enjoyment. I am currently a Nikon digital user.

I purchased this combo for the legendary Nikon 105mm 2.5, great for use on both modern Nikon DSLRs and my Fujifilm XT1

Fully manual and built like a tank. Excellent camera to learn how a camera functions and how to use light in photography. Last forever. One of my favorite film cameras to shoot. I own 30+ and this camera is in use quite often.

Solid camera which mounts Nikkor lenses. An F for the masses. Controls are mostly on the lens mount and take getting used to. FTNs offer a better meter. Features are great, depth of field preview, self timer etc. Prism is budget but for the price worth it. Lens mount needs to be precise: set it to 5.6 make sure the pin is aligned first! These cameras can be beat up and still work. Watch for old batteries the meter is fragile!
