  • Cute Ideas, But Lacked Enough Pictures

    I thought the book was very cute, and nicely written, but...there were not nearly enough pictures to really explain the items you are supposed to be making. It felt like half of the projects had only a partial picture, so you have no idea what the whole item will look like when done. The worst of all was the project for the dresser and the polka dot chair. They only had a picture of the top corner of the dresser, and NO picture at all, anywhere in the book of the polka dot chair. It just didn't make sense. I like lots of pictures so that I can get the idea of the basic construction of the item, and while some of them were well represented, most were not. Overall, the ideas presented were very sweet, and would make lovely baby gifts. But this book is NOT for a beginner. Most of the projects ...

    The book is very sweet. It has good pictures, and the projects are simple, but elegant. I have enjoyed just looking at it, and have a good resource for easy, but special gifts. I highly recommend it to a beginner or seasoned crafter.
