I've been a contractor since the 1970s, a Makita user since the 1980s. Not every single design was a great success but their overall longevity still amazes me to this day. If you’re looking for cheap, don’t bother shopping this brand but for day in and day out durability and design Makita is one of the best you'll ever find. I appreciate the fact that they do not also sell disposable, homeowner grade tools. Makita is industrial grade quality!

The items were shipped in a bubble wrapping there is no OEM box but for the price !!! and they are Makita genuine batteries. They came with 1 bar power left and I had to charge them but when you have the Makita DC18RD charger there' s no down time it took about 43 mins to full charge. My only complaint is that Makita made those 4.0ah as big as the 6.0ah.
