This guitar adds to my epiphone collection, which I'm still adding to at availability. This guitar in particular is great!! Plays like new! As the other guy said, if you want name brand go Gibson. If you want the exact same playability at a WAAYY lower cost, GO EPIPHONE. :)

I had wanted a Les Paul for a long time. I owned 4 acoustics and one acoustic-electric , but felt drawn to the Les Paul every time I walked into the guitar shops. The Gibson's were above my budget. I saw this Epi studio model and won the bid. It arrived quickly and I was amazed at how well this quitar was constructed. It was set up perfectly. I tuned it, started playing and couldn't put it down for hours. I let it acclimate for a couple of days then tuned it again. It stays in tune requiring very little adjustment. This is a beautiful guitar and I love it. It is not a Gibson, nor is it a high end Epi, but it feels great, plays great and sounds great, so what more could I ask.
This is the first used Les Paul I've ever bought and couldn't be happier! The string action is set low and fingering chords and notes are easy and comfortable. The fret job is phenomenal! Smooth and silky! The finish is mint and the chameleon color treatment is very cool! It's not overly flashy, but in fact subtle. When I plugged this into my practice amp, these open coil Alnico Classic humbuckers screamed! Sounds great on all pickup positions and throughout the volume and tone settings too. The previous owner took excellent care of this Les Paul. I've always wanted a Studio model, and now I own one of the more unique ones. Simply a beautiful guitar to look at and even more fun to play! ...I think I'll nickname him the Green Goblin!

A fool and his money are soon parted. If you have money to burn on a Gibson, go right ahead, but the Epiphone is the same guitar with a different headstock. It is the quintessential rock guitar. I love it.

These fit my Epiphone "Dot" tailpiece like a champ! I had put a Bigsby on the endpiece and a Toner Down Tensioner needed to be attached to the existing tailpiece nut. These fit perfectly and completed my upgrade on the guitar. Well worth having, since you can't picl up any of these at your local guitar shop (when you lose or misplace one).
