This knitting machine just does not work. Carefully following all the directions, the most it could produce wass four rows of knitting before it jammed, the knitting element would no longer slide any further. This required that the knitting be removed, the machine set up again, following the directions, and make another attempt. Again and again, the machine continued to jam and work no further. I tried to work with this machine for over two weeks; I also tried to contact the customer service of the manufacturer. No one answered the many calls I made. If I could return this piece of junk, I definitely would. I feel like I was taken advantage of and I'm totally dissatisfied with this purchase.

the machine is ok. Now that I have it working it works pretty well and its simple to use. It does jam a bit but its pretty easy to resolve. But my actual qualm is with what I received. The machine comes in segments that snap together. Two of those segments came broken as if someone had just snapped it. I attempted to glue it but it was so bad I couldn't. So I had to buy an extension kit to replace the pieces. Then I noticed that about 15 of the hooks were missing. Then I noticed that the large black plastic piece that acts as the weights was broken and I straight up cant fix that part and the parts where the little slots have ripped cause the machine to drop stitches. So I am either going to have to make my own makeshift one or buy a replacement. I ended up spending $45 extra dollars just to get this thing in somewhat working condition and I still have to spend more to find a solution to the weight. This listing stated "almost new, barely used" "like new condition" but that just isnt the truth at all. It was in very used and damaged condition, missing pieces and some of the plates are gunked up. The knitting machine is a lot of fun to use. You can get a lot accomplished in a short amount of time. It comes with some patterns to make which teach you the different techniques you need to learn. I would recommend that someone purchase one of these.

After several tries i was finally able to get it loaded and make some things. Doesn't take much weight or pushing so remember that when you try it! Seems to work well with all my yarns so far! Youtube has the best videos on how to work it.
