I purchased two additional Sengled Snap Floodlight cameras to go with the one I already had. I love these units! They are less expensive than the Ring floodlight cams and do a great job. You need a robust internet connection for them to work well, and even with a super fast connection (I have about 120M down and about 20M up) you are better off to use 720p rather than 1080i resolution. Setup is a breeze and the app is excellent for phones (I'm less impressed with it when used on a tablet, though). You can't go wrong with these. I was able to keep an eye on my property from over 1,000 miles away and was notified any time a person walked into the field of view. Plus the video was captured and I could quickly save it to my iPhoto library. As you can see from the photos, the night vision feature works well, too.Read full review

The Sengled Snap Light does everything it is supposed to do. However, one HUGE issue is that you can't install it in a security light that has a motion sensor unless you re-wire the fixture to provide power to the SNAP at all times. I guess that makes sense, but I'll bet 99% of the security lights out there have the motion sensors...so, from a design standpoint, that's a big deal, but not a deal breaker. Another HUGE issue is some of the most basic features, like MOTION DETECTION, WILL NOT WORK unless you are paying for a monthly subscription. ThatI IS a deal breaker. The last thing I need is another monthly bill. So, if I want to set it up, it has to be ON at ALL times. Really stupid design/business model/scam. With no motion sensor activation, there's no warning if a prowler is roaming around outside. I am glad I only bought one to try it. Now that I know the details that I should have researched, I can go buy the RING Flood Light Camera like I should have done in the first place. I already have the RING doorbell and I love it, so I know what to expect from the security flood light and camera set up. Unless you're okay with paying a monthly fee, I would not recommend this product. If you are still considering buying it, do yourself a favor and go to the Sengled website and do your research like I should have.Read full review

Comes with free 24 hour cloud storage and for the first month you get to try the 7 day storage. The lights are great and can be programmed to be turned on or off at specified times on specified days. There is a motion detection feature as well. I love that it’s always recording, unless you tell it not to. No wiring needed. The Snap2 allows for an Ethernet connection. The worst part of this camera, if I can be real, is that the motion sensor seems too sensitive even if you adjust the settings and turn on human detection mode.
