An older Sony Digital camcorder that supplies a very good image. This camera is absolutely amazing in low light condition. It is not the easiste to use as it offers so many functions and possibilities. I do have two of those and lovem to bits.

I'm very pleased with this purchase. I like the Sony quality of cameras. Very Sturdy, and reliable. I bought this camera complete with everything. I previously owned a VX2000 and loved it. This one is a slight upgrade. The only drawback is that it has a previous resolution of 640p and all the latest cameras are on 1080p. I'm hoping they do not discontinue the Mini-DV tapes anytime soon. Other than that this camera is great to use with lots of features and manual tricks. I mainly use it to film surfing, and commercials. I did a wedding on it already and it turned out great. It has good low light capabilities with a variable exposure control or iris.
great piece of equipment. all features came as described, everything works great, quick shipment as well!

Great camera! This is my second Sony Handycam camera and it performs brilliantly. I can do a two-camera shoot now that looks very professional. The clarity, color, image stability, low-light feature, are all great. For the money and level of results....it suits my needs perfectly!
Amlthough this camera is now a few (model) years old ir remains one of the best Sony cam ever proposed at a consumer price. This is my 12th or 13th Sony cam since the past 25 years. I tried the new Sony cam using the digital memory sticks. I hate it. It is not a good solution and the newer cameras have NO view finders. They are super cheap to produce and bring BIG profits to the manufacturers. The best remaions teh Sony VX2100.2100E and PD170.
