Cambridge Audio Electronics

Cambridge Audio is a U.K. based audio electronics manufacturer that designs its products to produce warm, natural sound. As the name suggests, Cambridge is based in Cambridge, England, and a group of recently-graduated electrical engineers were its first founders in the 1960's. It began as a small boutique manufacturer, with even its most technical parts such as circuit boards made in-house. Today, Cambridge Audio manufactures speakers, subwoofers, receivers, amplifiers, samplers, pre-amps, converters, DVD and Blu-Ray players, soundbases and all-in-one systems.

Cambridge Audio Speakers and Subwoofers

Cambridge Audio manufactures many varieties of speakers and subwoofers. Common options include free-standing and floor-standing options, wall-mounted varieties, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled all-in-one speakers and surround-sound speaker arrays. Cambridge Audio speakers and subwoofers are popular with audio enthusiasts for producing warm, rich tones.

Cambridge Audio Receivers

Cambridge Audio receivers come in many different varieties and in most cases transmit audio to surround-sound speaker arrays. They come with 7, 9, and even 11 audio channels, each of which can direct to a different speaker. Cambridge Audio receivers can stream music from mobile devices, transmit audio lines from television, and from multiple other sources such as DVD players or video game consoles.

The majority of Cambridge Audio products fall into Hi-Fi (or High Fidelity) ranges, with audiophiles often seeking them for their quality. Though Hi-Fi products are generally more expensive than alternative options, Cambridge Audio manufactures a full range of Hi-Fi products for many different consumer levels.
