      Worked Fine as a Replacement

      The Commercial Dell Latitude laptops that these drives go into are bulletproof. Throw in a Solid State Drive and they get a whole new life with windows 7 (D630 and up). Unfortunately, the DVD R/W is the most troublesome part. The choice is either get a conversion to a second SSD and go USB flash sticks - or just pay a few bucks for a new drive. It works perfectly as an exact replacement and the laptop came up loving it. It will give me another year to avoid Windows 10 too.

      Really good DVD drive that's worth the purchase.

      The drive works well with the laptop, though the laptop doesn't recognize it until you insert a disc into it. Still, worth the purchase since the laptop didn't have a DVD drive when I bought it.
