i finaly have anouther copy
i took my irish girlfriend, who was a life long irish dancer, to a live cconcert durring the "at home," tour in Seward, Alaska. I was 18 at the time, she was 17. despite what many may think, Alaska gets quite a few of the latest musicians to come to town so to speak, but "Cherish the Ladies'" was still to this day, the most fulfilling live musical experience in my life. i now live in phoenix, az and have seen many artists that i grew up listening to. i still believe that your particular concert in a small theatre in Alaska was the best live musical experience of my life. i bought the "At Home'" CD for both me and the preciously mentioned love intrest. i then had the beauty of your music for three years, until i lent my prize to a very interested listener. i am now 27 and am ... i took my irish girlfriend, who was a life long irish dancer, to a live cconcert durring the "at home," tour in Seward, Alaska. Cherish The Ladies - At Home
In the field of Irish music, some bands stand out, and there are a few American bands that are the best. Such is the group Cherish the Ladies. While some of the members have roots in Ireland and were born there, this group knows about traditional Irish music. They are also very easy to listen to. Some people (myself among them) prefer a good mix of music and songs. While many Irish bands tend to have several reels and jigs in a row, the music can seem a bit rushed, but Cherish the Ladies do a good job of alternating a Reel or a Jig with a song. Both the singers and the musicians are also excellent in their trade, which makes this band a very pleasant band to listen to, and yet appeal to a good size group of fans. An excellent listen! I've heard this cd just in the music store. It has taken me to all myt best travelling memories. It does conatins everything of Irish music - melody warmth love and feelings. One of the best I have. Helps me whenever I'm down.
