These work great with my C100 and are good lenses period. I have some "L" glass too and I prefer using the Rokinon for it's better look. You really have to take your time and make sure you have the focus set and then, wow! The only time I use the "L" anymore is when things are happening fast and I need auto focus or image stabilization. You can't go wrong with the Rokinon and soon I hope to have the whole set.

This was my first Rokinon Cine Les, and I was a like sceptic about them, but after a lot of research I finally decide to buy mine, and It was really good. One thing that I don't like ist the focal distance is about 30 or 45cm so isn't good for macro close-ups. other wise is a relly smooth and sharp manual lens.

I mounted it to the camera and tried a couple of indoor shots at night with just 60W incandescent household lamps. The extra speed is a real winner. I was able to put the ISO down to 400 with shutter of 1/50th. Not the kind of lighting I would use under normal filming conditions but the results were impressive. Can't wait to try it out under controlled and planned conditions. I can only imagine the quality and range of flexibility I'll get. At the time of this writing, I don't even have a focus-follow kit. You can be sure that's next on the wish list.

This lens is very sharp and wonderful to work with. Only problem I see is the mount is chromed brass or metal (very tough) but the base that holds it is plastic fiver or similar and it can break if you are a rough handler. That plastic base holds on to a metal frame jaja it almost seems like the company worked on it that way to break on purpose. parts are hard to find. Never the less, it’s a wonderful lens just be careful handling it rough. This review is based on a lens I bought for parts-

A perfect addition to a camera kit. The best feature is that the aperture ring rotates smooth, unlike a photo lens, which allows you to change the aperture while recording and it won’t ruin your shot. Definitely a worthwhile lens!
